WORCESTERSHIRE'S swimmers will have to wait a little bit longer because wet weather has delayed a swimming pool opening.
The opening of the swimming pool after "essential maintenance" at Malvern Splash has been delayed by two weeks.
The pool should have reopened in mid October, however Malvern Splash has now confirmed that the facility will not be open until November 12 due to adverse weather conditions.
In a statement on Facebook, Malvern Splash said: "In partnership with Malvern Hills District Council, we regret to inform you that the reopening of Malvern Splash Swimming Pool will now be delayed until Tuesday November 12 following adverse weather conditions impacting progress on the original timeline for the work above the pool hall.
"We appreciate this is disappointing news but we wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
"We wanted to inform you that a section of Priory Road will be closed on the November 7 in relation to the ongoing works, and would advise that you plan your routes accordingly.
"Thank you for your continued support."
