WORCESTER residents living near the river had been advised to make preparations now.
The warning came at around 4.15pm on October 18, as Worcester City Council announced it would be closing Pitchcroft Car Park.
The council has warned people to move their cars now as water levels are beginning to rise and cars are still parked in the area.
The council has also warned residents in the area to make all preparations possible as river levels are not expected to peak until tomorrow afternoon.
