AREAS of Worcester have begun to flood this evening.
Water from the River Severn has begun to spill onto South Quay in Worcester this evening.
We have also received reports that part of Bransford Road, near the Fox at Bransford, has been closed off by police due to flood water.
A flood alert has been in place for the River Severn for most of the day.
It is expected Worcester will reach peak river levels of 4.8m to 5.3m on Saturday, October 19.
Diglis is set to reach peak river levels of 4.2m to 4.7m on same day, while Kempsey Yacht Club could reach peak levels of 6.3m.
