A Worcester bookshop is set to welcome a best-selling author.
Script Haven will host Annie Garthwaite on Thursday, October 31.
She will promote her novel 'The King's Mother', which follows Cecily, Duchess of York, as her son Edward IV becomes king in 1461.
This is the sequel to her debut novel 'Cecily', which was a Sunday Times' 'top pick' before its release.
Leena Batchelor, owner of the book shop, said: "We were delighted when Annie came in last year to promote 'Cecily', and to have her return to us as part of her highly successful UK tour is an honour."
The bookshop is also planning Worcester's first dedicated children's literary festival in 2025.
Ms Batchelor said: "We're making several plans to enhance the vibrant cultural capital of the city, and in 2025 we'll be running Worcester's first dedicated children's literary festival."
Tickets to meet Annie Garthwaite are available from Script Haven instore or via wegottickets.com/event/632452.
