PEOPLE sensitive to loud noises can enjoy a fireworks display with a twist near Worcester.
The Sergeants Mess Community Hub in Norton, near Worcester, has organised a Halloween-themed fireworks night for Sunday, October 27 with a difference - it will be less noisy.
Ally Job, facilities manager at Sergeants Mess Community Hub, said: "We started using a new fireworks company, Fire Monkey Pyro, and they said they would be able to create a lower noise display for us.
"Basically they will be taking out all the big bang elements so it won't be as loud as a typical fireworks display.
"We have horses near our site, so it's better for them, and some of the younger children who come will appreciate less noise too."
The community hub reopened in September after a £1.6 million investment saw it transformed from a historic building that was once part of the Norton Barracks.
Mrs Job said: "We are looking forward to people coming to see our refurbished facilities - we're looking forward to showing them off."
The hub's fireworks event feature sweets and candy floss stalls, a children's fun fair, full-service bar, and Worcestershire food vendors including Roly Poly Eats and Hand-Stretched Pizza Company.
Gates open at 5.30pm and tickets, priced at £6 for adults and £3 for under-16s, are available online.
