A TEENAGER has been detained following a stabbing outside a pub in Worcester which left the victim needing hospital treatment.
Daulton Biddle, 18, has been detained in a Young Offender Institution following an incident outside the Prince of Wales pub in Windermere Drive, Warndon, Worcester which left another man injured.
Biddle of Oakley Close, Worcester appeared at Worcester Crown Court on October 7 where he was detained for 15 months following the incident.
Biddle was convicted of section 20 wounding (without intent) and possession of a knife/blade in a public place. Not guilty verdicts were entered for the more serious alternative charge of section 18 (wounding with intent) and also an affray.
A Youth Rehabilitation Order made on June 18 was revoked and Biddle was ordered to pay a £187 victim surcharge. A collection order was also made, giving the court extra powers to recover the money.
The charges are in relation to an incident outside the Prince of Wales pub on Windermere Drive on Sunday, June 16.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said at the time of the incident: "We were called to reports of a patient who had been stabbed on Windermere Drive at 9.31pm on Sunday night, one ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious, before being taken to hospital."
A witness said they saw three police vans and a police car at around 10.30pm and police had left the scene by 11.30pm.
The car park of the Prince of Wales pub was cordoned off by police at the time.
We have previously reported how Biddle was made subject to a two year criminal behaviour order, imposed in April.

It also prevented him from refusing to leave a premises, or area forming part of that premises when asked by someone who has authority to do so.
As part of the order, he was banned from entering Malvern, Worcester City Centre, unless accompanied by a parent, Asda, Silver Street, Worcester including its car park and foyer, Co-op, Gresham Road, Worcester, Lambert Road, Worcester and Bishop’s Avenue Worcester.
