A CRASH between four vehicles led to a busy county road being closed.
Drivers were directed off the A44 Evesham Road between Worcester and Evesham on Saturday morning (October 12) after a crash involving four cars near Egdon.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a four-vehicle collision on the A44 near Egdon at around 7.35am on Saturday morning.
"Nobody was injured and no arrests were made."
Traffic was diverted off Evesham Road and onto Egdon Lane near the The Berkeley Worcester pub by West Mercia Police after part of the A44 had been closed.
An eyewitness said: "I was there just after it happened at approximately 7.30am.
"It was well after the junction with The Berkeley, going towards Evesham.
"I thought a tree had fallen as there was debris all across the road.
"Then I saw a car in the hedge - so goodness knows what has occurred."
