The Worcester Language Exchange has announced its next gathering.

The group invites people from a range of backgrounds to engage in conversations in languages such as French, German, Italian, Spanish, English, and more.

The exchange encourages the learning of British Sign Language, Japanese, and or join smaller groups like English as a Second Language, Italian, and Welsh.

The event aims to foster a sense of community among language enthusiasts, with every event offering a range of voices with unique experiences and perspectives.

One participant, highlighted the event's role in improving her English and helping her forge cross-cultural friendships.

The group meets on the second and fourth Friday of every month from 5.30pm on the ground floor of the Granary in St Martins Quarter in Worcester, with the next event falling on October 26.

The entry fee is a donation, and attendees are encouraged to bring traditional food and drink from their culture.
