Three Worcestershire hotels have been named among the UK’s best outside of London by Conde Nast Traveller's readers.
The travel magazine has shared the results of its 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards where its audience has voted for their favourite hotels in the UK.
London hotels feature in their own list and have also been voted for by the magazine's readers.
Each hotel received an overall average level of satisfaction score, shown as a percentage.
3 Worcestershire hotels among best in the UK outside of London
The Lygon Arms, Dormy House Hotel & Spa and The Fish Hotel, all located in Broadway, represent Worcestershire on the list.

The Lygon Arms was ranked in 32nd place in the list of 35 hotels with a score of 96.09%.
Dormy House Hotel & Spa is just in front in 31st place with a slightly higher score of 96.15% while The Fish Hotel was ranked within the top 20 (16th place) with a score of 97.13%.

The Lygon Arms
The Lygon Arms describes itself as "the perfect spot to switch off and relax (with or without your pampered pooch!)" and it's "steeped in over 600 years of fascinating history".
Visitors who have stayed at The Lygon Arms were impressed with its staff, rooms and food.
The hotel has a 4-star rating from 1,933 reviews on Tripadvisor and one guest said: “We had a great stay here. Yuri, Norbert and Gary at the hotel were very attentive and made sure my husband and I were comfortable.
“The bath products smelled wonderful and our room was very clean, cozy and elegant. Looking forward to coming back here.”
Dormy House Hotel & Spa
Dormy House Hotel & Spa “is the perfect rural retreat” boasting “cosy corners, log fires, sparkling spa, glorious grub and sumptuous interiors”, it says.
The hotel has a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor from 2,039 reviews and one guest was pleased with their experience, sharing: “We’ve just had the most amazing stay at the Dormy House this weekend. Everything was gorgeous - the spa is stunning and as the hotel is quite small it never felt busy - I had the pool to myself on Saturday morning !

“Food in the garden was beautiful - breakfast wow and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. If going for more than a few days a car is needed to get you out and about but we were quite happy to walk everywhere which included a walk to the broadway tower and Into broadway on Saturday !
“I finished the weekend with prob the best facial I’ve ever had from Meg ! Thank you Dormy house we will definitely be back can’t recommend you enough !”

The Fish Hotel
The Fish Hotel says it suits lots of people as it's “a back-to-nature bolthole for couples, families and dog lovers alike as well as perfect for foodies as well as adrenalin lovers who have a taste for adventure.”
It has also been well received on the reviewing site, earning a 4.5-star rating from 1,501 reviews.
One guest described this hotel as a “beautiful country hotel set on a hillside” while another commented: “The fish is honestly my favourite place to visit for a much needed night away.”
A third said: “This is one of my favourite hotels to visit. It’s contemporary style overlooking the beautiful Cotswolds is just perfect.
“The food, service and views are 5 star with lots of space and different areas to relax in! I highly recommend this hotel”.
