A talk exploring archaeological evidence of witchcraft in Worcestershire is set to take place.
It will take place at Callow End Village Hall on Saturday (October 12), from 2pm until 4pm.
The lecture will reveal counter-measures taken by ordinary county residents to fend off perceived threats from evil spirits and witches' familiars.
This follows historical accounts from 1690 about the trial and execution of four women for alleged acts of malignant magic.
Attendees will learn about the historical context and specific protective measures employed to safeguard homes, residents, and livestock from these perceived dangers.
