A WORCESTER man has appeared in court on grievous bodily harm (GBH) and drug charges.
Ben Skidmore, 32 and of Portefields Road, Tolladine appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday (October 9) charged with wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
He was charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding a man on Sunday, June 30.
Skidmore did not enter a plea and the case was sent to Worcester Crown Court for trial.
He was given conditional bail and will appear at crown court at 10am on Wednesday, November 6.
He was also charged with possessing cannabis on Tuesday, October 8.
Skidmore pleaded guilty to that offence and the cannabis was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
He was detained in the courthouse until court rises.
The detention was deemed served because of time already spent in custody.
