The family, comprising RGS Worcester, RGS The Grange, RGS Dodderhill, and RGS Springfield, have developed relationships with more than 50 primary and senior schools in the area, engaging over 1,200 pupils annually.
These partnerships offer a range of experiences, from STEM competitions and sports events to creative arts activities.
John Pitt, headmaster of RGS Worcester, said: "Our partnerships are deeply rooted in the local community, and we take great pride in working alongside other schools to share ideas and provide our expertise when it can make a difference for all children.
"From specialist Sports coaching to Science and Design Technology activities to Music and Drama experiences, these initiatives enhance the education of participating schools and their pupils and also enrich the experiences of our own pupils who help out at the events."
He added: "It is a really important part of our role as the oldest school in Worcestershire to be embedded in the community and support all children, local charities, and the institutions of the city that make Worcester stand out.
"It is also part of demonstrating to our own pupils that we are all one community working together.
"It is lovely to have this recognised if only to demonstrate that we are doing what we believe in and what is right."
The school’s director of innovation has led AI and digital learning training for both state and independent schools, even providing training for 750 academy teachers.
In 2024, RGS Worcester strengthened its international ties through its ongoing partnership with the Talensi Community Development Foundation in Ghana.
This involves direct teaching, professional development sessions for teachers, and sharing of technology.
The school also shares its sports facilities with clubs such as Worcester Hockey Club, 'Inclusion Rugby' and West Mercia Women's Aid.
The school also hosts community events such as the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival and Young Fashion Design UK.
