The founder of a neurological walking football organisation in Worcestershire has started a new role in the British Army.

Issey Lee-Fisher, who created the club for people with Parkinson's, has become a football development officer in Aldershot.

She was inspired by a teacher with Parkinson's to combine football and the disease in her university work.

Ms Lee-Fisher, who studied at the University of Worcester, started the club during the pandemic, initially struggling to attract players.

The club, which now has 30 players, has said it will continue to support people with Parkinson's and other neurological conditions.
