PLANS for an office and a one-bedroom home that were rejected by the council have gone to appeal.
Proposals for what is described as a “single-storey live/work unit” were knocked back by Wychavon District Council in September.
An appeal has now been made to a planning inspector, who has the power to overrule the council’s decision.
The unit would be located at The Geldings in Holberrow Green, near Inkberrow.

Planning officers said the site is in open countryside and residents, employees and visitors would be reliant on cars to travel to and from the premises, making it an unsustainable location.
The applicants argue that: “The specific purpose of the live/work unit is that the resident also works from the unit.”
They also say the council has recently lost two similar appeals for live/work units refused on the grounds of being in unsustainable locations.
