PLANS to convert the roof space above housing into new flats have been put forward.
Developers want to create three new flats in the gabled roofs of the Arboretum Mews in Southfield Street, Worcester.
In plans submitted to the city council, they say dormer windows would be “barely visible” from the street.
It is also claimed that “roughly half the surrounding buildings have an attic conversion or third storey”.
Each of the proposed flats would contain an open plan living, dining and kitchen room.
One would have one bedroom and a shower room, the other two flats would have two bedrooms and a family bathroom.
