A critically acclaimed folk duo will be performing in Worcester later this month.

Hannah Sanders and Ben Savage will be stopping off on their 'In The Dark We Grow' tour at The Marr's Bar on Sunday, October 27.

The pair have been performing together since 2016 and have been described as "bewitching" by the Daily Express.

After their 2022 release Ink of the Rosy Morning, the pair spent much of the year touring with Fairport Convention.

They will take to the stage with their new album and a live show line-up featuring Jon Thorne, of Lamb and James Yorkston, on double bass.

The pair's sound has been described as "Americana" but "quintessentially English" with their own individual writing style.

The Mirror said the duo's work was "enchantingly beautiful", with "bewitching harmonies, tasteful twin guitars and a dreamy quality that lingers long after the music ends."

Sanders has been praised for her "alluring mystique" and "voice of disarming purity," while Savage is said to be a "singular guitarist with a sound as distinctive as it is innovative".

The pair will take to the stage at 8pm, with tickets priced at £15 in advance, or £17 on the door.
