A building society is set to double its charity donations from last year as part of its annual 'Community Giving' scheme.
Skipton Building Society's scheme will share £164,000 between 246 good causes.
Each of Skipton's 82 branches has chosen three charities within a 20-mile radius, based on nominations from residents and members.

In the Worcester area, the chosen charities are: Worcester Roots Foundation, New Hope, and Friends of Pershore Care Centre.
From Monday, October 7, until Friday, November 1, customers visiting Skipton's Worcester branch can vote for their preferred charity.
The charity with the most votes will receive £1,000, second place will get £600, and third place will be awarded £400.
Abigail Wallbank, Skipton’s group social impact senior specialist, said: "At Skipton, we’re passionate about supporting the local communities where our members live and work.
"Doubling our donation amounts this year allows us to make an even greater difference to the local charities that mean so much to our customers.
"We’re proud to offer them the opportunity to have a direct say in where our funding goes and look forward to seeing the positive impact these donations will have in the Worcester area."
