CUSTOMERS old and new are returning to a "better than ever" vegan diner after a month-long closure.
No Frickin Chicken's diner has officially reopened after its owners decided to take a break following a busy festival season.
The diner has reopened with a brand new dessert menu as well as new opening times.
The owners said they have learned from their mistakes and are ready to welcome customers back.
Hana Hughes, co-founder and head of marketing and communications at No Frickin Chicken, said: "It's gone well so far.
"It's nice and busy and we have welcomed lots of people back into the diner.
"Lots of returning customers, but also lots of new ones who we had met during festival season.
"Everyone has been really positive.
"I expected everyone to pick from our new menu but it's been about half and half.
"Some of the popular dishes from our last menu have been quite popular, so people must have missed them and I'm sure they are glad they are back in their lives."
No Frickin Chicken opened the diner in St Johns in February after years of touring the country in a food van.
The business is owned by Worcester couple Hana Hughes and Michelin star chef Paddy Kelly.
Miss Hughes continued: "After four years of going to festivals every summer we decided to open the diner in February.
"This summer we went to 11 festivals including Glastonbury and we were knackered so we decided to take a break but it's great to be back.
"We've definitely missed it.
"We've learned a lot from our mistakes, we've learned what works and what doesn't.
"We've made our menu more seasonal and changed our opening hours
"I think people have really missed us, we had one family who had three birthdays in September and they have waited for us to reopen to celebrate."
No Frickin Chicken reopened on Thursday, October 3.
The new opening times are Thursday to Friday from 5pm to 10pm, Saturdays between 11am and 10pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 9pm.
