A PUB often referred to as a "music lover's dream" is set to open a new venue in Droitwich.
The Arch Rival micro Pub is breathing a new lease of life into a former Indian restaurant on St Andrew's Street and hopes to "bring something very different and new" to the town.
Mike Davis, the business owner, opened the Arch Rivals Micro Pub under one of the railway arches in Worcester six years ago.
Now, he hopes to expand the business into the former Spice Fusion restaurant in the town.
He said: "We are bringing something very different and new to Droitwich - it’s an expansion of a independent Worcester based business that has been successful now for six years.
"It’s two brother-in-laws getting together to make something exciting happen - my brother-in-law will be running the new pub, and we were once rivals ourselves as he was at The New Chequers in Worcester."
The city pub is known for being a haven for people who love craft beer and classic rock and roll music.
On Instagram, he said: "So after two weeks of blood, sweat, tears and amazing help, we are absolutely flying.
"Arch Rivals 2.0 is coming along fast."
Mr Davis revealed the pub will officially open in Droitwich this weekend after the opening party which is taking place tonight (Friday).
