AMBITIOUS plans have been revealed to transform the Pump House into the ultimate community hub.
The new operators of the iconic venue in Gheluvelt Park, who also run Waylands Yard, have revealed they will be aiming to open the new café in early March.
In August, Yard Coffee Group were revealed as the new operators of the Pump House, which has been mothballed since Duckworth Worcestershire Trust left at the end of last year.
The newly re-branded venue will feature a café as well as lots of community spaces for locals to use.

The café will serve grab-and-go food such as sandwiches, baked goods, lighter and healthier meals and items such as milk, eggs and baked bread.
Those feeling lonely will be able to sit at the cafe's community table where they can chat with other people and make new friends.
There will also be a community garden where people can help people grow the produce for the café.
All those taking part will then earn loyalty points so, if they are short on funds, they can claim their hard-earned points against the cost of a meal they have had a hand in growing.
Night events will also support local traders with food trucks and smaller local chefs able to come and sell their treats.
Upstairs will see several safe spaces developed, including a quiet area for parents to take children with sensory issues, baby change spaces and semi-private areas for new mums to breastfeed.
There will also be a private room for special interest and community groups to use free of charge.
Adam Edney from the Yard Coffee Group told the Worcester News: "We want to see this as providing a third space other than work and home where people can spend most of their time.
"All of us owners have young families so we love bringing our children to enjoy Gheluvelt Park.
"We think this is a great location but it was really underused, so we want to build some really neighbourly vibes and create a community space.
"We are really excited about what this could bring to the area. We want to bring everything that people love about Waylands Yard while adding that extra sense of community."
