A popular RAF museum near Pershore has celebrated its 10th anniversary.
The museum, located at the National Trust's Croome Court Estate, marked a decade since its opening in 2014.
It is dedicated to the RAF Defford airbase, which played a crucial role in helping secure victory in the Second World War.
The anniversary event was attended by West Worcestershire MP Dame Harriett Baldwin, Pershore’s Mayor Richard Grantham, and other dignitaries.
They were joined by family and friends of those who were based at the airbase, developing radar and microwave applications.
The popular attraction has welcomed 500,000 visitors since its opening, and has recently been expanded to accomodate more visitors and memorabilia.
Dame Harriett said: "The museum is a wonderful tribute to the work carried out by the RAF at Defford and Pershore, which clearly helped us to win the Second World War.
"I attended the official opening, and since then, there has been so much more memorabilia added to the collection from local people and families of people based there.
"It is a moving and fitting recognition of RAF Defford’s efforts during and post-wartime, and I strongly urge anyone who hasn’t, to go and visit this amazing museum."
