A DREAM has come true for two new business owners in Worcester after it was revealed that they had taken over a city centre cafe.

Samantha Hunt and her partner, Liam Ames, hope to leave a legacy in Worcester after they bought Pretty Good Coffee in Angel Place.

The move has led to many changes for the pair, including Mr Ames temporarily leaving his job as a lorry driver to help build their dream of owning a successful cafe.

"There are two sides to everything, but we want to start to put our name to something, build a legacy and leave a mark on Worcester for making brilliant coffee.

"It is something we wanted to do for a long time - a dream project.

The business will be family-run, with Miss Hunt, who will be the face at the counter greeting customers, and her son Bradley James waiting on tables.

Mr Ames will also be working across the business in various roles.

When asked what makes Pretty Good Coffee stand out from other cafes in Worcester, Mr Ames said: "It will be the quality, for one, and we source our coffee from the finest supplies.

"We do not just serve coffee; there is no rush, and it is made with care and charm.

Mr Ames and Miss Hunt will make minor interior changes to the cafe in the future and will tweak the menu slightly.

The cafe currently serves a range of crumpets, toasties and cakes, coffee, teas, and cans of drinks.
