A MAN who flashed his genitals at a woman and masturbated while walking towards her may have carried out a similar attack before.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the man indecently exposed himself in Power Park in St Peters in broad daylight.

The man, who has been described as being older than 50, emerged from the bushes in the park at around 2.30pm on Friday, September 27 and flashed the woman.

PC Noah McCoig-Lees said it is possible that this is not the first time this man has exposed himself in public and they are doing all they can to identify him.

The man is described as white, approximately 6 feet tall, of large, stocky build, and broad stature.

He had dark brown or black hair in a wavy style with a longer fringe just above the eyebrows.

He was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a navy blue crew-neck sweatshirt or jumper, and dark trainers or shoes.

PC McCoig-Lees said: “We know this incident will be concerning to the community and it is possible that this isn’t the first time this man has exposed himself in public.

"We would urge anyone with information, who may have been in the area at the time, or who may recognise the description to contact police.”

Cllr Steve Cockeram, who represents St Peter's on Worcester City Council, told the Worcester News: "This news is shocking and I'm sure I speak for all of St Peter's when I say our thoughts are with the victim.

"St Peter's is a very safe area of the city to live in so this is a highly unusual thing to happen.

"I am sure the community will rally behind the police in attempting to find whoever did this."
