A TREE outside a block of flats in Barbourne will be cut back - at the request of residents.
The yew tree at Harden Court in Thorneloe Walk will be cut back by a metre all around.
It is currently close to buildings and residents have asked for it to be tidied up.
The management company responsible for the flats had to get approval from Worcester City Council before it could start the work, because the tree sits within a conservation area.
Planning officers said the proposed reduction of a metre is appropriate and had no objections to the work taking place.
