A WOMAN was trapped in her car following a three-vehicle crash.
Firefighters had to free the injured woman from the car following the crash in Wells Road in Malvern.
Paramedics assessed two drivers, both of which were women and one was taken to hospital.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two crews from Malvern Fire Station were called at 11.40am on September 29 to an RTC involving small vehicles in Wells Road, Malvern.
"The incident involved three vehicles and one person was released with the assistance of fire service personnel.
"The vehicles were made safe and three casualties were handed over to the care of paramedics who attended along with police."
One woman was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital whilst another woman was discharged at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an RTC at 11.35am on Sunday September 29 on Wells Road, Malvern.
"An ambulance attended the scene and two drivers, both women, were assessed.
"One woman sustained injuries and required further assessment at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"The second woman was discharged on scene."
Police attended the scene but made no arrests.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "At around 11.35am on Sunday September 29 we were called to a three vehicle,collision on Wells Road in Malvern.
"No arrests were made."
