A CITY councillor is seeking retrospective planning permission for a gym in his garden.
Jabba Riaz, the deputy leader of Worcester City Council, has put forward plans for a gym and shed in the back garden of a house in Victoria Avenue.
The plans show that work on the project has already started, hence the retrospective application, but have not yet been completed.
The council’s planning committee is likely to be required to make a decision on the application because it has come from a sitting councillor.
Councillor Riaz declined to comment.
