"I was really pleased with the car, I have worked so hard for it and it was my dream to have one.
"You don't see many of these cars around at all and it has a private plate as well.
"It's devastating. The thought someone has been onto your property and taken something is really concerning.
"My nine-year-old daughter is now terrified to go to bed, it has really impacted her.
"My wife is having problems as well as she used that car to go to work, so now that is an issue we have to solve."
He said he was hoping his car could be found, but at the very least, he wanted to raise awareness that car thefts were happening in St John's.
It is believed the car was stolen between 2.30am and 3.30am on Saturday.
Home CCTV shows the Alfa Romeo was still on Mr Ryder's driveway at 2.10am.
The incident was reported to West Mercia Police the following morning.
The car is bright red and has a unique number plate of XX04 SJT.
Mr Ryder said after discussions with police he believes it was a keyless vehicle theft, with the thieves using radar devices to unlock the car.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "At around 8.20am on Saturday we received a report that a car had been stolen overnight from a property on Windsor Avenue.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
