A 'TEEN' was told to 'watch his language' as he was arrested outside McDonald's in Worcester city centre.
The young man, who appeared to be aged 17 to 18 by witnesses, was given a warning by an officer as he shouted and swore at the police while on the ground and in handcuffs.
An eyewitness said he saw the teen beating up another boy on a bus, but just seconds after he called 999, he spotted and chased down two police officers to alert them to what was going on.
He said at around 3.45pm yesterday (Saturday, September 28), he was walking across from the Horn and Trumpet pub when he heard shouting coming from outside McDonald's in The Cross.
He added seconds later he then saw a young boy running past him and another pursuing him just behind.
The man said the two boys, who he believed looked between 17 and 18 years old, ran onto a bus, at which point he claimed he saw the one chasing beating up the other.
The eyewitness added he called 999, but, just seconds after getting off the phone to them, he saw two police officers travelling in the other direction.
He added he then ran and tapped the police officers on the shoulder, alerting them to what was going on.
He said after seeing the police, the boy who he claimed beat up the other youngster attempted to run, but officers chased him, put him to the ground and arrested him.
