A Worcester theatre group received some special good luck messages from West End stars.
The Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society (WODS) was thrilled to get video messages from Beverley Knight, who played Deloris in the Sister Act, and the touring cast, including Coronation Street’s Wendi Peters.
Knight encouraged the WODS cast to "spread the love" to the audience and each other, and told them to "break a leg" for their October run at Worcester Theatres.
The touring cast's message came after their tour manager, Jack Jenkins, spotted WODS on TikTok.
They told the group to be "fabulous, baby".
The group will perform at Swan Theatre at 7.30pm on each evening from Tuesday 8 to Saturday, October 12.
There will be an additional matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
Christopher Hopper, the director of the WODS production, said that the messages have lifted the spirits of the whole team and inspired them to put on their best performances.
WODS is on its way to a sold-out show, with ticket sales already at 93 per cent and only single seats available later in the week.
The best availability is for Tuesday and Wednesday night performances.
Remaining tickets can be purchased on the Worcester Theatres website or at the Huntingdon Hall box office.
