Dogs become our best friends and if you’re looking for a new companion, we might be able to help you find your match.

Dogs Trust Evesham has lots of dogs available whether you’re looking for a new puppy to welcome into the family or you want to give an older dog a loving forever home.

If you can’t adopt a furry friend but still want to help, you can support the centre’s work by donating.

This can be done via the support page on its website.

5 dogs at Dogs Trust Evesham looking for their forever homes

Dotty

Age – 8 years

Breed – Dogue de Bordeaux

Dotty would like to live in a moderately busy home with a secure garden so she can have lots of sniffs.

She could live with another dog as long as they mix successfully at the centre however she’d prefer not to share her new home with cats or other small furry animals.

Dotty could live with children who are of a primary school age.

You can find out more about Dotty via the Dogs Trust website.

Monty

Age – 2 years

Breed – Cocker Spaniel cross

Monty is “energetic” but he’s looking for a quiet home with a secure garden where he can play off the lead.

He is “friendly” but he likes to have an introduction to new people and he can guard his food so he’s been working on this and his training will need to continue at home.

This is why Monty is looking for an adult-only home where there are no visiting children.

He needs to be the only pet in his new home but he can enjoy his walks with dog friends.

Forrest

Age – 5 years

Breed – German Shepherd cross

Forrest is a “lovely lad” and came to the centre after being found as a stray.

He is “friendly” but is inexperienced with handling so he can worry a bit at first so he won’t want to live with young children but he can live with teenagers.

Forrest would find some basic training at his new home beneficial and although he has been good with dogs at the centre, he’d “prefer a quiet role model to help him.”

Cherry

Age – Around 9 months

Breed – Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Labrador

Cherry can’t wait to find a new family – she’d like to live with only adults in a moderately busy home where she can play in a secure garden, preferably with high fences.

She can’t live with other dogs but she could have some walking friends.

Dogs Trust added: “She came into our care as a stray, so our knowledge of her history is limited, however in centre she has been an exuberant girl who just loves to get out and about! “
