A RISE in rogue traders has led to a warning from police.
West Mercia Police's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) in Pershore said that rogue traders "have been cold calling and preying on vulnerable members of the community".
The rogue traders are said to be offering gardening services but are unable to provide legal documentation and often demand large cash payments for their services.
Pershore SNT have advised people to turn callers away and report them to Trading Standards on 0808 223 1133.
People are advised to call 999 if traders refuse to leave.
