DEBRIS has reportedly fallen from the roof of a former hotel forcing a road closure.
Firefighters closed the road at the site of the former Raven Hotel on St Andrew's Street, Droitwich Spa after part of the roof had fallen away.
Owner of nearby shop Antique and Vintage Paul White said: "Debris fell into the road from the roof.
"So the fire service has closed the road now, and they're making it safe."
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon (September 24).
Mr White added: "It's not the first time something like this has happened to the building, though this is the worst it has been.
"They (fire crews) said they are pulling more parts of the roof down because it's dangerous."
The derelict building, which has been empty since 2010, was boarded up in August this year after Wychavon Council gave the owners an ultimatum to protect the site or face legal action.
