A PERSON was found dead on a railway tracks near Worcester.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the incident at a railway crossing near Henwick Halt on Friday evening (September 20).
British Transport Police were called to the line at around 11.41pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were called at 11.53 on September 20 to assist police with a casualty.
"Two crews, one from Worcester and one from Droitwich attended the scene along with a fire officer.
"The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service."
