At least six police cars, one of which was unmarked, along with a police van and an ambulance attended the scene. About 13 officers were also at the scene.

The man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was shirtless and sitting down in the pub's entrance while waiting for an ambulance.

Once the ambulance arrived, the man was medically checked by three paramedics, before what appeared to be taser prongs were removed from his back.

He was then put into the back of the police van.
