A MOBILE home - arguably one of the largest items you can fly tip - has been abandoned on a main road.
The cream and blue-coloured home, which would have needed a lorry to move, has been dumped in a layby on the Wyre Piddle Bypass between Evesham and Worcester for over a week.
Wychavon District Council is aware of the blight on the landscape and has issued a "removal of abandoned vehicle for destruction" notice.
Such notices are given when the council believes vehicles are abandoned and harming the amenity of the local area or when there is a possibility that it may attract vandalism if left in situ.
Steven Whitmore, a commuter who had stopped in the bypass, said: "It's quite the mess isn't it.
"I've driven past it for a few days now but I don't know what is happening with it.
"It's a shame because it looks like it was once used by a family and now it's been abandoned.
"Someone must know something because it's so big and has no wheels.
"It has to have been left there by a lorry but the real question is why?"
The home, which consists of a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a toilet and a bedroom, has been left propped up by a few bricks and left at an angle.
The outside doors have been removed, however, personal items from the previous occupants have been left strewn throughout the abandoned structure which has had its doors ripped off.
Inside the former family home, the fireplace had been half-pulled out of the wall, an empty Peppa Pig toy box is on the floor along with used cotton buds, dirty socks and underwear.
Doors to the kitchen's cabinets were smashed up across the floor however surprisingly the oven didn't seem to look in the same condition.
The council officer visited the site on Tuesday, September 17, however, there is no date stating when it will be removed.
