A WEATHER warning for thunderstorms has been issued for Worcestershire.

Two yellow weather warnings for heavy showers and lightning have been issued by the Met Office.

It has warned people to be aware of thunderstorms that could hit the county on Friday (September 20) between 12pm and 8pm.

There are also warnings of more stormy weather between 1am and 11.59pm on Saturday (September 21).

The weather warning has been placed on much of the South of England and Wales.

Temperatures will still rise above 20c over the weekend, before dropping off at the start of next week.
