A MAN has been charged with theft after admitting to stealing from a supermarket in Pershore.
Police officers arrested the man at Pershore Train Station after he was involved in shoplifting from the Co-Op on Racecourse Road.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Yesterday (September 17) PCSO Rice and PCSO Ashley successfully located a male who matched the description of an individual believed to be involved in a shop theft.
"The male was in possession of numerous items believed to be stolen and was later arrested by response officers.
"Following an interview, the man admitted to the theft and has been charged and bailed."
