A transatlantic band formed after a chance meeting on the streets of Galway is set to perform in Worcester.
A Different Thread, fronted by Robert Jackson from Lichfield and Alicia Best from Durham, North Carolina, will be joined by double bassist Mike Seal for a show.
The band was born out of an impromptu busking session across the Irish Sea, and has been making music together for eight years.

They are known for their blend of folk, blues, and Americana.
Folk Radio UK describes them as "warm, deep songwriters" with "a strong, independent sound".
Their lyrics focus on themes of change, counterculture, travel, and the transient nature of life on the road.
The band is known for their vocal harmonies, intricate guitar work, soulful fiddle, playful harmonica, and Best's distinctive suitcase drum-kit.
The performance is slated for Sunday, September 29 at The Marrs Bar, with tickets priced at £10 in advance and £15 on the door.
