Free music lessons are coming to Droitwich.

Droitwich piano and flute teacher Deborah Johns will be hosting a UK charity Music for All - Learn to Play '24 event.

She will be offering new and returning musicians a chance to receive a professional music lesson for free.

The event, which takes place across the country, will see Music for All collaborate with a variety of music providers to offer a wide range of free music lessons and experiences across the weekend, welcoming people of all ages and abilities to participate.

The event aims to inspire, encourage and enable both new and lapsed musicians to enjoy making music.

Ms Johns said: "The past few years have shown how important music is to all our lives and how it can bring people together even in the most difficult of circumstances.

"I aim to help as many people as possible understand the unique joys and benefits of learning an instrument.

"Anyone interested in learning to play the piano or flute, or looking to pick it up again, should come and join me for this celebration of music making.

"I’m delighted to be part of Music for All’s Learn to Play ’24 event and we can’t wait to get started."

Those interested in joining Ms Johns for a free music lesson can email LearnToPlay@PianoTeacherDroitwich.co.uk or call 07546 971638.
