RECORD numbers of people were part of the city's annual running event.
Over 5,000 people took part in the Worcester City Runs event which celebrated its tenth anniversary.
Worcester City Runs' founder, Steve Cram, said: "It has been another brilliant weekend of running in Worcester and the event is going from strength to strength.
"We celebrated Worcester City Runs’ tenth anniversary with a record number of runners, loads of enthusiastic spectators and fine weather yet again.
"The city always delivers a brilliant event and we’re grateful to all of the partners, sponsors, participants and volunteers who make it possible.
"Here’s to the next decade!"
Former marathon world champion Paula Radcliffe attended the 10k family relay at Worcester Racecourse on Saturday (September 14) as 40 family teams competed, while thousands of people lined up for the Worcester City Half Marathon, Worcester City 10k, and Young Athletes Run on Sunday (September 15).
In the men's half marathon, Max Parker of the Halesowen athletics club won in a time of 69 minutes and 10 seconds.
In the women's race, Nynke Kuiper of CDF Runners in Cardiff came first with a time of 83 minutes and 56 seconds.
For the 10k event, Adam Peacock was the fastest male runner with a time of 31 minutes and 34 seconds while Gemma Wilks was the fastest woman with a time of 38 minutes and 39 seconds.
