TWO men were arrested after an "unexplained" overdose at nursing home near Worcester.
The men, aged 42 and 47, were arrested at The Firs in Kempsey for potentially supplying a controlled drug and being in possession of a weapon.
It had led West Mercia Police to launch an investigation into the incident.
Police officers said the victim is still alive following the incident.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a called around 10.30pm last Wednesday (September 11) from the Ambulance Service with the concern for the welfare of a man within a property on Old Road North in Kempsey.
"Officers arrived at the property and two men aged 42 and 47, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
"An investigation is now on going."
