A Parkinson's charity is looking for people across Worcestershire to take part in focus groups to help improve resources for people with the condition.

Parkinson's UK is inviting people with Parkinson's, their relatives, carers, and anyone connected to the condition in Worcestershire to participate to help encourage physical activity.

The focus groups, which will be held both in-person and online across the UK, aim to gather insights on the importance of physical activity for those living with Parkinson's.

Anyone interested in taking part can express their interest by completing a form by Friday, September 20, with selected participants being notified shortly after.

The feedback collected will help the charity create a library of resources about staying active with the condition.

Regular high-intensity activities have proven benefits for people with Parkinson's, including improved muscle and bone strength, flexibility, joint mobility, and balance.

They also enhance energy levels, sleep quality, and lower stress levels.

Moreover, physical activity can significantly boost mental well-being, improve confidence and self-esteem, cognitive ability, and reduce anxiety and depression.

The charity is keen to hear from anyone connected to the condition to help shape future exercise and physical activity resources.
