A WOMAN has been found not guilty of racially abusing two people.
Danielle McGarrity, of Chatcombe Drive, Worcester, was acquitted at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 22.
The 32-year-old previously denied the two charges of racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress - words/writing.
A Crown Prosecution Service spokesperson said: “After carefully reviewing all the evidence available at the time, we proceeded with the prosecution based on our view that there was sufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction and that the prosecution was in the public interest.
"However, she was acquitted, and we respect the decision of the court.”
