The Star Wars saga is set to return to the big screen in Worcester.

Vue Worcester will show every main Star Wars film this September and October as part of the Back on the Big Screen offering.

The saga, created by George Lucas, has been a staple of the science fiction genre for more than 46 years.

The films will be shown in order, starting with the original trilogy, then the prequels, the sequels, and Rogue One.

The original trilogy began being screened on Saturday, September 7 with Episode IV: A New Hope, with the series continuing on Saturday 14, and 21, before the prequels are all shown on Saturday, September 28.

Rogue One will then hit the big screen on Sunday, September 29.

The sequels will be shown on Tuesday 1 and Saturday, October 5.

The screenings will allow fans to see their favourite characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader, on the big screen once again.
