Severn Trent has launched a new scheme to find Worcestershire community projects deserving of an up to £2,500 grant.
The ‘NeighbourGOOD’ scheme will support regional causes, offering not only funding but also volunteer support for community development initiatives.
It calls on organisations with a social or public purpose in the county to apply, including community groups, charities, councils, and project owners.

Inclusive of various community purposes, the scheme encourages projects like renovations for a community centre, aid for events, or the restoration of a garden.
Applications will be shortlisted by a panel of experts, but the final word on what initiatives receive funding will be given to the water company's customers themselves.
Megan Aplin, societal strategy delivery manager at Severn Trent, said: "Our communities are at the heart of what we do, so we’re thrilled to launch the NeighbourGOOD Scheme.
“We want to make our region a better place, after all, our communities are close to all of our hearts and the NeighbourGOOD scheme is a great way of us extending our support to them; alongside our already established community fund and employability work, this gives our people the chance to get hands on and really help our communities with vital initiatives.”
The application window is open until Friday, October 4.
