A learner motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash between a motorbike and a van near a major roundabout.
The female motorcyclist was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester after a crash involving a van near Powick roundabout shortly before 7pm on Thursday (August 6).
Photos from the scene showed a motorbike with 'L' plates on its side and the central reservation also showed signs of damage. The motorcyclist was treated for injuries not believed to be serious.
Police and an ambulance attended the scene on blue lights during the emergency incident at the junction of Malvern Road and Temeside Way.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called to a collision on the Powick Bridge shortly before 7pm last night (Thursday, September 5).
"The collision involved a motorcyclist and a van. The woman riding the motorbike was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life changing or life threatening. The road was blocked but reopened just before 7.30pm."

A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a lorry and a van near to the junction of Malvern Road and Temeside Way at 6.44pm last night, one ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was the motorcyclist. She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
