A cyclist has been injured following a crash between a car and a bike which led to the closure of a major road this morning.
The incident on the A449 led to the closure of the road at the junction of Ombersley and Droitwich and left drivers facing long rush hour delays.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called to a collision on the A449 shortly after 7.20am this morning. The collision involved a car and a man on a bike. The cyclist sustained minor injuries. The road was closed at the junction for Ombersley and Droitwich but has since re-opened."

Police announced at 8.48am that the A449 had reopened. Drivers had reported that traffic was not moving at all and of being diverted off the A449 at Doverdale towards Droitwich.
