A VETS in St John’s has been given permission to build an extension.
Henwick Vets is expanding its surgery in Henwick Road out towards the street in order to create a bigger waiting area and additional consultation rooms.
It is also extending the back of the building to relocate its existing laundry and mortuary, allowing it to create new operating theatres and dentistry rooms.
The vets said it needs to grow so it can continue to serve its increasing number of clients.
City planners said the extensions and a proposed canopy above the main entrance were “an acceptable addition to the site”.
Worcester City Council's planning committee will next meet on Thursday, September 19 from 3pm at the Guildhall.
