CAR parking charges look set to bring in less money to the council than originally predicted.
The latest financial figures presented to Worcester City Council’s policy and resources committee show income from city car parks was £25,000 under budget in the first quarter of the financial year.
The council also made £27,000 less from penalty charge notices (PCNs) in April, May and June than it budgeted for.
Council officers are forecasting a budget deficit of £45,000 for car parks and £30,000 for PCNs by the end of the financial year.
