Are you looking for somewhere to go on your next holiday? Birmingham Airport offers flights to a variety of destinations and Jet2.com has added more flights.

The airline has announced the launch of its ninth airport in Italy with flights and holidays via Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport which will go on sale in summer 2025.

Jet2.com has put a range of hotels on sale across the Amalfi Coast as well as introducing the port city of Salerno which becomes a brand new resort for Jet2holidays.

Those travelling from Birmingham and Manchester Airports with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays can access a new gateway to the Amalfi Coast from May 2025.

The addition of Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport, which has recently reopened to commercial flights, means the companies will operate to nine Italian airports across all seasons (eight airports in summer 2025).

Flights from Birmingham Airport to Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport

Birmingham and Manchester Airports will operate weekly Monday flights to the Amalfi Coast (Salerno) from May 26 to September 29, 2025.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays add that both routes are exclusive to the companies.

Customers can book flight-only flights or book a package with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

The companies have shared some sample packages so customers can get an idea of what is on offer.

Jet2.com offers “low fares and great flight times” to Amalfi Coast (Salerno) from Birmingham. Flights start from £49pp one way including taxes, departing September 2025.

It’s important to note that prices and availability is likely to change.

As well as putting this new airport on sale, Jet2holidays has also gone on sale with a range of new hotels located on the Amalfi Coast available to book now in the resorts of Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Vietri sul Mare.

In addition, holidaymakers will be able to choose from hotels in a brand new resort to Jet2holidays – the city of Salerno.

Salerno sits just on the edge of the world-famous Amalfi Coast and is located conveniently close to a host of tourist hotspots.

The ancient port city features a cathedral, old town, parks and museums to explore.

Those who visit the Amalfi Coast can combine Neapolitan Riviera scenery and beautiful beaches, Jet2.com adds.

Can I still travel with a red passport in 2024?

As one of Italy’s most scenic and glamourous of coastlines, the 50-kilometre-long stretch is carved out of the cliffs and has 500ft vertical drops producing incredible views.

Boasting UNESCO World Heritage site status, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ launch provides even more choice and flexibility for holidaymakers looking to reach one of the world’s most iconic destinations.
